Inspiration V8 is just out and now includes a branching format as well as its concept mapping arrangement - you choose! Inspiration transfers with a click to a Word or Appleworks page as a map or an outline (or both) and has audio capabilities - record or read back.

On top of this, the clipart available with Inspiration is now searchable and also linked to a bank of 10,000 images and drawings. On top of this, the Chest agreement at £18 a copy continues to make it my mapping software of choice. It takes about 10 minutes to learn to use effectively, it's linked to an all singing and all dancing how to section (ok, you need broadband or to be at college) and they are still offering 30 day free download to try it out.
